Nestled at 3370 Hayden Rd, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere that reflects its roots while embracing a new identity. As I stepped inside, I immediately felt the charm of an authentic Italian eatery—something that so many diners in the area have been longing for.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the food would be the centerpiece of my experience. Patrons have raved about their remarkable dishes, like the show-stopping 14-layer lasagna, featuring homemade pasta and a velvety three-meat marinara sauce. This dish is not just a meal; it's an experience, often leaving diners with leftovers—they simply can’t finish such a generous portion!

“ The Blind Pig has been on my list for months now after meeting the owner at the Uptown Farmers Market and hearing about their great dishes! I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, it felt like a true authentic hidden gem in the heart of Scottsdale. The Lasagna is a must have, we couldn’t get enough of the huge portion we were given. My personal favorite was the bucatini all'amatriciana, a delicious pasta with guanciale that was a special that evening. We shared a bunch of dishes and left with a lot of leftovers! I will be going back here soon. ”
“ Absolutely delicious!! This is probably the best pasta I’ve ever had, the texture, the sauce, the flavor was perfect and balanced. It did take at least 45 min to get our food which felt a little odd but they said everything is made from scratch and when we tasted it we thought all the wait was worth it. They also have cocktails, wine and beer. Can’t wait to go back and try more things from their menu ”

“ Go check them out! Their food surpasses all other brunch spots we tried in Scottsdale and Old Town. We have a new FAVORITE brunch spot now! I've been wanting to try this out for awhile and we went in today and got Steak and Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, Waffle, and Tuscan Eggs. Their drinks were flavorful and poured well. The food was instagramable, flavorful, savory, and not overwhelmingly sweet or salty. Staff is friendly and was very aware of when we were ready to order and needing anything before we needed to ask. Prices were very good including drinks approx 30 per person. I can't say enough good things about my experience here. I will 100% be going back and making this my new go to brunch spot! ”
“ The food was fabulous and the staff treated us like family! The 14 layer lasagna with homemeade pasta and 3 meat marinara was a show stopper and absolutely delicious. I took 3/4 of it home as it was over 6 inches high. The short ribs over pasta were fork tender and melt in your mouth with the richest beef flavors. Save room for the best Tiramisu around. It is the perfect combination of sweet and creamy without being too much. This is a true Italian experience! ”

The staff were so friendly (Michelle is a delight and all-round cool gal) and Chef Vincent crafts his dishes with big flavor, quality ingredients, and unique touches of creativity. My avocado toast was special and beyond; and we were served a tasting of the lemon ricotta pancake that had me at hello. We chatted with owner Ken who clearly cares about getting it right, and is creating community. Check. It. Out! ”
“ I celebrated my birthday with dinner at the blind pig. It was amazing! Their tomato and fresh mozzarella antipasto was so good. Everyone enjoyed their meal! You can tell that the chef made his food with love! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend trying the short rib. It was super tender and paired with linguine pasta in a wine reduction sauce. The staff was also super friendly and gave great recommendations. ”
“ We have been coming to the Blind Pig since moving into the neighborhood in 2016. It’s gone through at least 3 owners since we’ve been dining here, and the food now is the best. We have been for both dinner and brunch; we love that they’re open for brunch on the weekends! Their menu now is Italian inspired. We went again this weekend for brunch. The staff was welcoming, even greeted us at the door like we arrived at a friends house instead of a restaurant, and we didn’t have a long wait like the new brunch spot across the street. My husband got the burrito which was huge and flavorful. I got the avocado Toast with eggs and it was the perfect amount. The Italian dinner dishes there are authentic, fresh and delicious as well. It’s a great local spot! Oh and the patio is dog friendly, perfect when the weather is cooler (pic for proof!) ”
